| Just checking in to see how every one is doing I live in Delaware and we have been on lock down going on 3 weeks. As you can imagine, not being able to go outside as much is definitely impacting Duchess's demeanor a little bit. She seems down or bored, not as happy or mischievous as she usually is. She doesn't even play with her pet cat Chloe like she used too. I feel so bad for her. Duchess is used to going outside at least 3 times a day and for much longer periods. She is hyper energetic and loves her walks and going on long hikes. If it would up to her, she would be outside 24 hours a day. We are able to go out for short walks around the school yard and she runs the entire "walk" . She has so much pent up energy. I make sure to find things to help keep her busy and that does help but I wish I could do more. She just really wants to be outside. It's times like this where I wish I had a fenced in yard. Well at least she is safe and healthy even if she is a little bored. On the other hand, Chloe (the cat) could care less. She's an indoor cat and she's probably pissed that I am home 24 hours a day......she loves her me time How are your furbabies handling the quarantines? (if you are in quarantine) Last edited by yavenay; 04-11-2020 at 11:28 AM. |

| We're on a stay at home order. We can go to the grocery store, drug store, and get outside to exercise. I live in an apartment building so we get out several times a day and walk around the parking lot. Not very exciting but it does the trick for her. The last time I was out in public was over 2 weeks ago when I had a doctor's appointment and stopped at the store on my way home to pick up a few groceries. Stay safe -- this won't last forever. |

Same here, I only been out once in 3 weeks to go to the grocery store. My outings have been limited to taking Duchess on very short walks. I did have an exciting weekend last weekend.........I cut the grass Be safe.

| I stay home all the time anyway so it’s not much change for me. Our governor isn’t real consistent. He said the groomers are considered essential yet the vets at this time are only allowed to give rabies and lepto vaccines. Well you need bordatella to go to the groomer and Penny’s is due at the end of the month so it’s frustrating. My vet keeps sending me the postcards saying your dogs are due for vaccines yet they can’t give them. We are allowed to go outside all we want as well as take the trails and paths as long as we aren’t in groups and practice social distancing. Most parks that have hiking are open you just can play on the play ground equipment.

| Difficult time for high energy furkids.. My Mike is exactly the way you described Dutchess. Nowadays he seems bored, gets up early, and not much mischief going on. He even skips on his nightly pillow "love" sessions lol. When we go out for short walks he doesn't walk, he runs. He is used to two long walks per day so it's weird times for him. We moved almost a month ago and have been on lockdown almost since right after the move so didn't even get a chance to explore the new neighborhood.. Just walking around the block and back home. Hoping we will soon have a chance to go back to a normal routine so the mischievous Mike can get his groove back. |

| Lock down in Pennsylvania, allowed out for shopping and other necessitates. Wear mask, stay 6 feet away from ppl. I order my groceries from instacart.com and another major supermarket in my area, what I cannot get at one store I may get at the other. I walk Cody around the community, no one is ever out and if there is someone we are far apart. I am not one for liking to be in a crowd of ppl so I don't feel deprived of anything. Stay safe and well.

| Definitely hard for active pups - Jackson is busybusybusy and used to going on outings... every weekend we find shopping to do with the dogs, parks, etc, so he's going a little stir crazy. We are very lucky we live on 4 acres though so we go for walks around the fields and play fetch etc.

| We are doing fine in KY. I stay home except to go to the grocery once a week and make lots of phone calls or Facetime with others. My husband works at an "essential" job, so he goes out everyday but isn't around anyone. The Yorkies are happy someone is here all the time and we for walks each day. Easter is definitely different this year with no family gatherings or church. Our wonderful governor is asking anyone that gathers in church settings for Easter quarantine for 14 days and this made the news because they are recording license plates. Hope everyone is doing great and Happy Easter!

| Maryland: Stay at home orders, essential outings only. @lovetodream didn't know the groomers were open. Emma has been become slightly clingy in my opinion . Stays almost annoyingly close to both my daughter and I which I find interesting. Not sure if its because we are at home so much more or if she senses something we don't.

| My husband and I are retired, so Gus and Tyrone are used to our being home...however, my husband usually plays golf a minimum of three days a week, and he is now staying home. The boys are THRILLED to have their favorite playmate home all the time, and have gotten very obnoxious about dumping toys on his feet or in his lap whenever he sits down! lol My daughter-in-law is the lead administrator of an upstate nursing home, and I have been working everyday for the last three weeks sewing masks for her staff, as well as making masks to include in family Easter baskets (along with disinfecting wipes and other "treats"). I cannot complain, and recognize that being forced to stay at home in my small gated community where the Florida sunshine helps and we can still walk around on our sidewalks as long as we maintain social distancing, is not a hardship. I am grateful, and send wishes to all for an end to this time of uncertainty and restoration of health and security! Stay safe and well

| Hello from Mid MO! Deron and I are both home all the time anyway. But. Our Wend Morning Dog Walks in town, look more like Parades, everyone spread way out.....2x leashes, plus space = far more than 6' on any day! We are hoping they keep doing them, each week we wonder. It's good for us and our dogs to get out and see others....and yell back and forth. Ha Ha |

Ha Ha! We did that too, cut grass, worked on yard! On the first day we were out the Sun felt so GOOOOOOD! The second day, cold and windy, not near as much fun. But don't you LOVE it when the yard is fresh cut!?? It looks and smells so nice! And when walking the dogs, not so high on your feet with the morning (cold) dew!

| Lockdown in Dallas County area also. So far I don't know anyone personally with Covid-19 and hope I never do! Thankfully most get well, same as with colds, regular flu. Quarantining all packages except fresh food which I'm changing into different containers and either immediately washing, heating in microwave or freezing. Hands stay dried out even though I moisturize after each washing! Haven't been for a drive through the country or even seen a restaurant inside for far too long now. Small price to pay compared to those who have to go out and about in their essential jobs. Oh, the day I can walk into a coffee shop and order a BLT, small side of fries, pickle and a Coke and sit there, eat and enjoy it! On the other hand, I still do have a lot of Edwards Key Lime pie left! But I would give it all for a good, freshly made BLT!
