| why are they so attracted to everything they are not suppose to have? It never fails.....the minute snickers gets out of the kitchen.....he goes immediately to my daughters polly pockets, little ponies or barbie dolls.... Its funny. He thinks its a game as we chase him around the house. Sometimes my daughter is fine other times she goes into tears. I'm more concerned that he will choke. He loves to chew the barbie hair! I try to give him his toy....but he could care less! |

| My daughter has all those toys too. She has learned the hard way to keep the barbies off the floor. Chachi has chewed many of her barbies feet and hands off.

| We can worry about them choking on almost anything - but we might as well give up doing that - because they are going to always have and be chewing on things they shouldn't have. For a fact - everytime I hear my dog chewing on anything - I run to see what he has now. And, usually, it's just one of his toys. I live alone - and my house is about as puppy safe as a house can be - but he STILL finds things. Part of the problem is that he is a climber - and he often gets things that I didn't even think were in his reach... Good luck! Carol Jean |

| Well, Teddy's decided to check out the trash. He could barely reach the top (and anything above it), so I bought some stones (4") tall to sit the cans on. Today he knocked one down, so back to the drawing board. I really worry because of plastic bags and such that I try so hard to keep the family aware of their dangers.

| Ah, what is it about crayons? Dogs do seem to love those! Maybe the wax? I used to have a Husky who was very good about not "counter-surfing" except for chapstick. If chapstick was left on the counter, it was HIS. I don't know how many tubes of it he ate, but it was alot. Not the plastic, just the insides! Skingstone, you asked why is snickers so attracted to everything she's not supposed to have. I think you answered your own question: Quote:
