| Household Chores We knew when we brought home a puppy our household would be 'upside down' for a while. I laughed this morning and wondered??????? Besides us? Who does Household Chores Around their Tiny Dogs? Deron makes coffee each morning holding Katy dressed and ready and waiting for me to get my coat, hat, gloves, ext, on. This morning we made the bed with Katy running around on it as we did. Ha Ha Now that she is older I let her out of her crate, that is on a table beside our bed, so that she can join us a few minutes when we first wake up. As we now make the bed, as she rans around it. There are many other things we do holding her, or working around her..... How about you? |

| Ollie has to be held when we use the wood floor mop and swifter wet jet on the kitchen floor because he hates the noise it makes when it shoots the cleaner and will bark and try to attack it. They are always at my feet though when I’m doing stuff. Callie will get in tote bags and lay down lol. They are into everything I’m into lol.

| It's just my daughter (17) and myself. We don't necessarily have assigned chores but raising a daughter I've made it clear we don't do a messy/smelly home so keep areas clean and tidy. If you use it, wash it, etc. As for dog specific chores, most bathing, walking , feeding falls upon me. My daughter is much or the spoiing owner. I'm the alpha in the home . Keep a schedule and be consistent in anything you do with your yorkie, that's helped us wonders for training.

We are that was too. Try to KEEP it clean <she says while sitting in front of computer when Kitty Litter Boxes and Vacuuming are calling Ha Ha> Amen! On Consistency and Schedule! Oh Indeed! However, for every new pet that is brought into a home, more dogs that any other, 'Normal' changes, even if only a little. Here I am, now going outdoors at the end of a leash, several times a day, on a schedule, <laughs> and will be from now until...... On that. I have to BRAG on my Tiny Dog. Katy will be 6 months old on the 5th. She is COMPLETELY housebroken. Housebroke means so much more than just ALWAYS goes potty outdoors. She only had 5 messes in the house since she came here. Why? <laughs and winks> I am consistently at the end of the leash on a schedule. | |
