| Answers Needed on Diet and Aging Chloe is our 141/2 year old. She's basically treated like a human around here. She has some problems seeing and she hears when it's convenient. She also has a trick knee and takes her time to get going in the morning. Sleeps alot but has perfect teeth. Some days the age shows other days she does really well. We just can't get her diet right. Lately she's being fed Boar's Head Roast Beef and Turkey with some string beans thrown in. We got her weight down to 13lbs with what we are feeding her now. She was over 14lbs. She was the biggest pup at 1.5 ounces when we picked her out of the hat. It was her because she was the most curious of the bunch. So any comments on a different/better diet I could try? She's very sensitive to this roast beef so I have to be careful. This is my first post and I'm looking forward to learning from the members here about the remarkable Yorkie. Thanks. |
