| Here's praying your pup makes a quick turn around. I know nothing about PLE but I can identify with your fears |

| If you could tell us what city you live in, maybe members here could recommend a specialist vet where you live so you can get your little guy treated by someone with experience. I'll sure be praying. Until then, if you don't know the best vets in town, ask/call around, do some research and get your little guy in to see them today. A lot of times a good vet E.R. has pretty good diagosticians on the staff there who can possibly recommend the very vet your little guy needs to see. Until then, we'll be praying!

| Thank you so much. I知 in Westchester County NY. My vet just put him on Metoclopramide twice a day and it seems to be working well, he even gained a few ounces. His personality is back. I pray it continues to work. I would of course still like to find a specialist. I can稚 tell you enough how much I appreciate your help. Thank you so much. |

| So sorry I didn't see this before now. Sounds like Skyler is at least eating now. That is so important! Sometimes it is a challenge to get them to eat anything. What appetite stimulants has the vet given him? My Cookie had lymphangectasia and IBD / PLE for a little over 5 years .. she ended up getting lymphoma and that is what killed her. SO....hopefully that will give you some encouragement. I know other pups who have also done well. One of the most important things is DIET. What food is Skyler on? It should be a low fat diet. I chose to home cook for Cookie and she did so well on that diet...but I know others who have used Royal Canin Gastro diet...and other prescription diets with success. If you don't think your vet is handling his case well, then yes, I would suggest an internal med specialist. You can find one at www.acvim.org Here is a link to a thread about Cookie .. perhaps you can find some useful information there. I am sending you a private message with an email so you can contact me at any time. I am usually here at least once/day but have not been lately so if you have questions, send me an email. https://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/si...ia-update.html This is a helpful link: https://www.marvistavet.com/intestin...ngiectasia.pml

| Thank you all for your help and concern for my baby. Skyler is doing better. The new medicine the vet put him on seems to be working. Recently it seemed that a medicine would work for a few days and then stop so I really hope it continues. Again thank you all and I promise to keep you updated. |
