| pet scale Does any one have any good recommendations on a pet scale? I'm wanting to keep an eye on Ollie's weight as well as the other three but most concerned about Ollie's. I have wanted one for a long time but am pretty much ready to buy one now. I don't need one that goes super tiny or super big my smallest is 10 pounds and my biggest is 16 pounds.

| Wouldn't a regular bathroom scale work? You can get them on Amazon for $16. https://www.amazon.com/TOP-MAX-Bathr...oghydr-20&th=1

| I use my bathroom scale which has digital readings. I just weigh myself, write that number down, pick Gidget up and then subtract first reading from this. It gives me pounds.ounces. Has always given me an accurate weight for both of us. |

| Bathroom sales don't give oz. I have always weighed my pups using that method. Cody goes monthly to the vet fore his Cytopoint shoy (allergies) I have him weighed. My bathroom scale method could show 11 pounds, the vets scale would show 11lbs 10 oz.

| My vets scales are in KG I have an online site I use to convert KG into pounds and oz. But the techs break it down for me, I double check when I come home.

| Sorry I didn't see this, my scale is digital but it doesn't give ounces, I have to look for one now that I know they make house scales that show the oz. also.

| I give Callie her cytopoint shots and my mom usually picks it up for me when she has a doctors appointment. My vet is sorta out of the way and Ollie is a bit nervous at the vet or I would just take him in weekly.

| Just multiply the Kg weight by 2.2 and you get the pounds. I can not remember how many times I had to do that on my first vet assistant test it was crazy lol I will never forget. My vets scale does pounds but the specialists I have been to have kg scales.

| Good that you give Callies the shots a money saver for sure. I hate taking Cody to the vet, he gets so stressed out, but I like the fact that I can get him weighed every month, his weight goes up and down. I had written down the scale my vet uses so I could buy the same one, I have to search my computer to see where I save it lol.

| The techs give Cody his shots, they have a large scale for big dogs near the waiting room, when I ask to weigh him they always fiddle around with that large scale. A few months ago when he was weighed they had a new tech I guess not use to this scale, when she weighed him it was in pounds. I asked another tech why they change that scale to KG, she said they record the weight in KG for meds.
