Dorothy is our sweet baby. I have a lot to learn and hope to pick up knowledge here. I was worried About the snow gut she seems to just love digging and jumping in it :

I just saw you put up a picture and you have a chocolate yorkie too. My youngest is a chocolate!

Wow I have so much to learn. I just loved her color but did not know that it was a variation. Just liked how she looks.

The brown nose is a big indication. As well as eyes being lighter brown. I have always wanted a chocolate and a breeder had posted my youngest on Facebook for months and couldn’t home him because he was bigger so I took him

he is 10 or 11 pounds at almost a year old.

We did not know anything about yorkies when we mether in a pet store and fell in love immediately. I wa attracted also to the milk chocolate nose. She is now seven moths old and we have had one course of puppy school. She loves being with other dogs and plays well with dogs many times her size. Now I am trying to figure out what sort of grooming she should have .she loves daily brushing lol

Oh yikes. Pet store puppies generally come from puppy mills. You might want to think about signing her up for pet insurance encase any genetic issues pop up. I would also spay her now if she is 7 months old so you can get it done before her first heat. You also should have the vet check for any remaining baby teeth when she gets spayed so they can pull them. Yorkies generally require professional grooming. Mine get groomed every 6 weeks give or take and I have a mobile groomer that grooms them in the van in my driveway which is soooo much easier since I have four.

What is the issue regarding having her first heat? I am thinking interms of humans, so do not understand why it is preferable to spay before full maturity. Thanks
