| Have you experienced this yet? My family babysits a 6 month old baby. Precious is not used to babies at all. Recently, the baby has started to literally scream for no reason. This has began to cause Precious to try to hide under our bed or the couch, she trembles, refuses to eat, play, & she paces. Also, she then becomes afraid of noises she usually doesn’t care about at all. When I take her outside she calms down but if she hears the baby again she resumes. When it’s just us here, she’s her normal-hyperactive-barking self. She has never acted like this before. She got her favorite toy in the mail yesterday & was excited to get it (but she went to go get groomed first) but when the baby came she didn’t even want to touch it. The screaming bothers my anxiety extremely badly so I’m guessing it’s doing the same to Precious since she’s okay when it’s not happening. Like now she just got out of bed, ran around the house & is playing Have any of you dealt with this? If so, what did you do to calm/stop them? Her doing this makes me really sad but hopefully the kid will be put in daycare soon |

| It might hurt her ears or just scare her. You might need to talk to the vet about an anxiety medicine.
