We applied to a local Yorkie rescue on Wednesday, 10/03/18, submitted the application on line. How long does it usually take from submition of the application to someone actually getting in touch? I received an automated response when I hit send and then nothing. I have emailed & pm'd, asking if the pup I was interested in was still available, but nothing, no response. Is this normal? How long does the process take? Your advice and input please. Thanks

I guess it would vary. Our rescue pup was in our arms two weeks after the application. I wrote an extensive and detailed letter with our experience with Yorkies, included pictures of all of them (4), the home, the yard for our pup, pictures of our vacations with them, telephone numbers of references and our vet for 20+ years with an expressed invite to please call them all. They called me the next day, and it was set in motion. I believe my case is a rare one, but does happen.

I have emailed/pm'd, invited them to call at anytime etc. They have no phone number or address listed on the website, but I know they are about 17 miles from me. After I submitted the application I found their Facebook page the reviews were not very good. All the good reviews were done in the last 5-6 months through accounts that had no real activity, or pictures of dogs. I am very discouraged. I pm with someone who had actually gotten a dog from them and she said they were very slow. I have even seen the dog on Petfinder.com and send messages daily through them that I am interested, still no response. I am loosing hope on this particular pup.
