| Top Knot Terror Miss Freya Messy Face--one of my nicknames for her, also Booby Baby lol--is going on 7 months. I'll provide another pick for reference for my question. How long will it take her hair to be long enough for a top knot? That's a minor reason I got a Yorkie in the first place lol, cause it's so cute to do it. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater |

| At 7 months old there should be enough hair for a small top knot. What you want to do is start early with top knots, get them use to one. The first week or two she will paw it off her so the sooner you start the quicker she will get use to something on her head. I have had 4 females and could never keep a top knot on them, if they didn't get it off one of the sisters would drag them through the house until the Barret or bow was off, it was their trophy lol. I now have a male rescue who sports a pony tail top knot, soooo cute.

| Nooooo, she's a typical yorkie terrier, full of mischief, if you can't see her, for sure she's doing something she shouldn't lol. Welcome to the world of owning a yorkie lol.

She's starting to get so comfortable being here--almost two months she's been with me, almost 7 months old--that she's wandering off into the kitchenette area and my bedroom. "Come back here, Freya!" I keep an eye on her. | |

| Here's my baby Casie (pronouced Casey) at 5 months old. https://www.instagram.com/p/BOlJUJch...ttie.and.casie And here's a video of her at 5 months https://www.instagram.com/p/BKEJjS-j...ttie.and.casie It wasn't quite long enough for top knot but there was certainly enough hair to tie it up. Enjoy the puppy days!!! They go by too too fast

| Beamer always loved his bows. I am getting a female puppy in August when she is old enough to leave her mommy. As soon as she has enough hair I will start by just putting a band in her hair to get her used to having something in her hair. BowBiz dog bows has a good article on bow training.
