| Future YT Calendar info Greetings all YT folks! Things seems to be moving faster this year - anybody else feel that way! I don’t think I can help much with the YT calendar this year. I know it is early to bring this up but we usually start about July. DBlain did most of the work last year collecting all of the pictures and did a super job! The cost of postage has gotten to the point where we can’t make any extra $$ to donate to YT. At a time when I should be thinking about retirement, I have instead opened several new offices in increased Telepsychiatric services, so I am pretty slammed. Seems that psychiatric care needs are increasing but psychiatric professionals are not. Our graphic designer is still deployed and the Air Force thinks so highly of her we have no idea when she will get back to the good old USA. So it seems a number of barriers have presented. I think LadyJane said that Yorkie Haven Rescue used JuJu (hope I got that right) to make their calendar which is always good, so that is a thought. I would be glad to try to work with anyone who would consider taking the project over - I adore my YT calendars! Just though I would do a HEADS UP to see if any strategies could be worked out. Hope everyone is having a good Yorkie summer Jay and Cali

| If DBlain collects the photos again, I could offer to do the Calendar layout and make it into a print-ready file for someone else to have the calendars printed and shipped (being from Canada, costs would be even more for me to send out). Feel free to get in touch with me if you'd like.

| Those of you who work on the calendar are generous, talented, kind, patient artists one and all. What you do and accomplish is wonderfully awesome. Again, your generosity is just beyond and I thank you. Having seen a bit of Canana's terrific talent, she will bring truly incredible to the mix! Thanks for all you all do... |

| Jay, I also love the calendar and can't imagine a year without it. Last year I kept putting on comments on the post for pics to bring it up to the top of the thread so folks would send Donna the pics. I have folks on my Christmas list who look forward to it every year - or maybe they just humor me since they know I'm crazy about my little boy. If you will PM me what you paid last year, how many we sold and what you think is a reasonable budget so we can make a donation, I'll shop around here and online for prices and find the best way to mail. I have last years calendar as a sample so I can show them what we want.

| Just one more thing. After some preliminary research. What program did you use to create the calendar and Canana what do you plan to use to make a print ready file?

| Not sure what program the graphic designer used - I know I t was something fot professionals. She has a relationship with most printers in the area and could get pricing and get the actual production done. I know the ringing place and they have done it the last years and everyone has been pleased with it. The postage is dependent upon where you are shipping from and where you are sending to. I mail them in Louisville and sending to California is more expensive than to Chicago area. Since they no longer have the bound material rate we have gotten hit hard in that area. So the cost is different for each individual because of the mail.

| Recent Calendar Stuff This is where we stand: *Canana as offered to make/design the calendar🎊 *At this point no one has offered to collect the pics to send to Canana- this is a big job and very important job folks that doesn’t get alot of praise. So can we be thinking of easier ways to do this? *I will offer to send the calendars out again this year if folks will use PayPal like before. *Our deployed precious calendar graphic designer (Diane, who says hello to all YT friends, told me today it was 112 the degrees, in the shade, where she is) will give us the name of the folks who printed the precious calendars.

I’d suggest creating an email address that goes directly to Canana so there’s no middle person/responsibility for members who wish to have their pics submitted can send the submission to that account . She can take the pictures format them to the calendar as she sees fit . It’ll be important to give a submission deadline , size requirements and any other specifics needed so folks can be accountable for that and Canana can run with it from the email box. Drop Box or Google Docs may be a bit challenging since you have to grant access to folks via email so that would be more work on the frint end .

| Hi guys, sorry to have missed the posts for a bit (thank you for the user who emailed me! Was it Yorkimini?? hehe). In spirit of keeping the calendar going, I'd be glad to help out! I was hoping to not take on too much work, but if there's no one else collecting photos, I can do that too. Please send all photos to contact@scottieandcasie.com, saving your photo as "Pet Name(s) - Yorkietalk Account Name" (i.e. mine would be "Scottie and Casie - Canana") to be uploaded. I have a printer who occasionally has decent prices. When the time comes, Yorkiemini and I can compare costs and just go with the better price for printing. But before we go ahead, can someone remind me what time of the year the photos were submitted by last year? Yorkimini, can I leave it with you to give the friendly reminders for the submission deadline? And also when the calendars were submitted to the printer by? And also, how many in total was ordered so I can compare costs for printing? I just want to make sure I have enough time, so I'm not making promises that I cannot fulfill. Just a heads up, I am away in September. You can email/PM me this info if you won't want to discuss this on the forum.

| What are the parameters, requirements in the way of acceptable, use-able photos? I don't know from pixels and kgs or mgs or whatever, but can figure it out with help. And do we send photos via e-mail as attachments? Canana, meant every word, you are a truly amazing talent!! |

| Were you able to make a donation at all to YT last year? So what are you thinking on these calendars. Keep them at $20 or up it to $25 with hopes we will make enough for a nice donation? I would suggest you start a new thread announcing the 2019 Calendar when you have the due dates in mind. I found last year's thread guess you can go with similar dates etc. Have my photos ready to go in a folder. I pulled pics from Halloween 2017 to now so far.

| Was not able to make a donation to YT this last year but have the previous years. Postage when up and that made the difference. Maybe going up to $25 would be a good idea and if we made money it would go to YT.

| We need to have a way to get the pics to Canana before we can move forward.
