| Name needed. Help! I had my beloved yorkie Prince for over 11 years and he passed away on 3/19/18. I had his name chosen before I even got him. I am getting a new Yorkie today and have found myself struggling on coming up with a name that I really like that the family likes as well. The puppy is a male and he was born on Christmas Day. Any and all suggestions for something cute and amazing is welcomed and appreciated. Thank you! |

| My sincere condolences on the loss of your Prince. I think it's wonderful that you're getting a new puppy as it in part, honors the love you had for your sweet boy. As for names--isn't it just too, too exciting--one will probably come to you within a short time of the baby's arrival. Maybe he could be a (little) Duke?! Whatever name you choose will be as perfect as he is...! |

| So sorry for the loss of your little prince, this little baby will help you and your family to heal. All my babies were nameless until I saw what their personalities were. Last and now passed baby took 3 months to get her a proper fitting name. You'll find that perfect name for your new kido.

| I'm sorry for your loss. I just got a new Yorkie-Poo and had a difficult time thinking of a name before I got him. When he first came home, he had a fiesty attitude, a gentle heart and hair across his face. I'm a Walking Dead fan, and my favorite character in the show is Darryl Dixon. He, too has the attitude, the heart AND the messy hair! The name fits my puppy so well! I think you, too, will find the perfect name once you've lived with him a while and gotten to know his personality! |

| Were you able to come up with a name? I'm the opposite of most and have named all my dogs prior to them coming home. Their names always fit them. LOL not sure why. My yorkies (Troy) was named by my daughter after a character from High School Musical. Emma's story is a bit different. Before we knew we were getting a yorkie my daughter and I talked dog names. We picked Emma if it was a girl. I ended up getting Emma as a surprise almost a year after that talk. When my breeder asked did I have a name so she could call her that until I picked her up, I told her Emma. Emma's name fits so well as she's funny and can be very lady like.

| Bella had her name when we got her. She was supposed to be a gift for Denise's grandson, but his mother claimed that she was allergic. It was the luckiest thing for both of us! We were thinking of naming the second one Bonnie but settled on Bailey just a couple of days before we picked her up from the breeder.
