| Solvit Booster Seat Matese, I got the seat in the mail today but can't figure out how to set it up straight. I'm really challenged in following directions but can't seem to figure these out. What do I do with the metal frame? HELP |

| lol that's why I had the guy that works in the store set it up. But it was really easy to put together. I just went out and brought mine in. Can you attach a pic. of how it came and the pieces that came with it. I believe the fabric is already on the steel frame. I don't have any instructions with mine.

| Figured it out and it's all set to go. Just had to sit back, relax, and read the instructions one line at a time. You're right about the size. Anything smaller than the large would have been too small. Think I need to put something else in to make a softer place for Gidget to sit and sleep. No problem, though. Have a couple of things that will work. Glad you had me check this one out. Thanks! |

| GREAT that you got it together, now I have to put mine back together lol. Since Gidget is only 5 Lbs she may need a fluffy baby size blankie to raise her a bit higher. I can't Imagine the size of a 5 pounder, I have always had larger yorkies, so she may need a bit of height to see comfortably over the steel frame. When you adjust it on the car seat leave Gidget in the house, make it a wee bit higher then you would like, her 5 pounds will lower the seat a bit. When you adjust the belt around the back of the seat make the strap as tight as you can, it will make a little indentation on the sides of the seat, that will ensure the seat is good and tight and will lay against the back of the car seat. When you have the booster seat attached to the seat then bring Gidget out and set her in it, you may have to raise or lower it, you do that by adjusting the strap that goes over the head rest. Then just move the strap that goes around the car seat, push it up or push it down to make sure the seat is level. You must post of pic with Miss Gidget in her booster seat. I hope she loves it as much as my kido loves his.

| Am going to install it in the car this afternoon -- after the temp goes up a little it. Then, I think I'll take her for a ride and see how she does. I've put her in her Sherpa carrier and seat belted it (know that's not the safest but it got her out of lap) and she has adjusted well to that. Lays down and sleeps part of the time I'm driving here and there. Think she'll do well with the tagalong and, of course, it's must safe. |

| Took Gidget for a ride in her new booster seat. She actually laid down and took a short nap. She put her front paws on side of seat and looked outside. Am going to raise the seat until I get it to the right height. Don't see how a dog larger than Gidget (5 lbs) would be very comfortable in the large size. She had room but no room to spare. Best purchase I have made since getting her 2 years ago. |

I was not a happy camper knowing he could never come in the car as my girls always did. My vet gave me pills to be given one hour before he went in the car, I never used them. 1-many of my short trips are spur of the moment. 2-I just cannot see drugging my dog to join ME on a short or any trip. So he only went in the car for vet visit and groomer and always got sick. He HATED the car. Then I saw members on YT discussing booster seats, well, you know the rest of the story. I now have a pup that LOVES car rides, no more car sickness, this kid sits in his booster seat like a king sitting on his thrown. He's 12 pounds, he curls up for naps but he's not cramped. His seat is appox. 4 inches below the window, since he's a bigger boy he has the height to see out of all the windows. Happy to hear Gidgets first trip in her booster seat was successful. Would LOVE to see picture.
