As I said before when she was two years old we got the flu shot for her when we were in Florida. She had no side effects but now she is 71/2 years old. That is what happened to our yorkie. We take good care of her have insurance on her too. I guess I will not tell my experience of what happened to us, I will just keep my mouth shut. As I said I am a firm believer in vacines but ours had a reaction. Susan You can believe what you want to believe but I am telling the truth. Susan | The canine influenza vaccine first came out in 2009, so I believe you. I think it was for just a single strain back then. Now it's made for two strains, so it's a different vaccine now. Please feel free to tell us your story if you want to.
Slightly different topic. Human vaccines: I just got the new Shingrix shingles vaccine today. I was the first person vaccinated at our CVS location, so I was kind of an experimental animal for them. No pain or other side effects so far. It's a lot more effective than the old Zostavax shingles vaccine, and you can get it if you're over 50, as opposed to over 60 for the Zostavax. I'm not making a recommendation one way or the other, but if you're concerned about shingles, this might be something to consider. |
