We got a lot colder last night then was forecasted at 6am it was -2 that’s without the windchill. It seems so cold early this year. They are saying Tuesday it will be in the 50s what weird weather.

We lost power for 10 mins on Thurs night and then again for 15 mins on Friday. For some reason our entire Verizon fios is out- wifi, TV and phone. Never had that happen before. Talked on phone and got nothing solved so tech has to come out tomorrow. I'm using my cell phone as a hot spot to get online.

The wind is what is so killer! Honestly, when the wind stopped today for like 15 mins increments, I could actually stand being outside and thought "wow, it feels so much warmer!" ... looked at my weather app and it was still only like 15F, LOL.... shows how your body acclimates I guess. But honestly, the cold I can deal with.. it's the damn WIND CHILL. It's just awful. It's like you can't even feel your bones or your face or anything from being out for 60 seconds. Just awful. Makes me not want to do anything but curl in bed.

Thursday here on the mountain we had 40 / 50 MPH wind gusts while I out shoveling what the plow left me. I AM TELLING YOU, IT WAS FRIGID. 4AM temps are anywhere from -5 to -9, temps have not gotten above 18 in over a week, and winter just started
