Emma refuses to poop outside in the cold . It’s a bit of snow out so she certainly isn’t going . Won’t poop in the house so I’m patiently waiting for her to scratch at the door when she’s ready .

Lol, sounds like Cody, he asks to go out, I open the door, he smells / sees rain / snow, nope ain't gonna go out there, he won't even step out of the door, just turns around and heads back to the living room lol. Ok, we wait, Cody will not potty indoors even tho I have a pad out for him all the time. Eventually nature calls and out he dashes and dashes back when he's finished lol, they are too funny.

lol, thing is, I have a 16x8 foot roof over my back door, that area is always dry his feet won't get wet, yet he will not even step out of the door lol, silly boy.

That doesn't change the temperature. I remember having to use an outhouse as a child visiting my grandparents. I would hold it as long as I could just not to go out there and sit and shiver. LOL

Now I know why they follow me to the bathroom....probably trying to figure out how to do it there instead of outside. Be nice if they could figure it out!

lol, my father had friends that lived on a farm they had an outhouse also lol. Cody doesn't mind the cold, he loves to chase them pesky squirrels, he just doesn't want wet feet. He didn't mind the 7 1/2 inches snow yesterday as he was galloping through it trying to catch that squirrel, go figure lol.

Callie has this weird thing that she loves peeing on the snow. Joey his first winter wouldn’t poo on the snow, he would go out there and search and search but I guess couldn’t find the right spot.

Get this while walking Emma today we met 3 yorkie neighbors . They were of the same household and the dogs were being just as stubborn as Emma . Lol ��

Piper and I just moved to southeastern Wisconsin where we're experiencing rather cold (read: frigid) temperatures. Luckily for me, my brother had a fence built around back patio, so I needn't accompany Piper out into the cold (of course I always stand in door so we can see one another). And just as lucky, Piper knows she has to go outside when she has to go and man-o-man, I've never seen my little girl do her business so quickly!!!
