| Companion for my Yorkie Hi,I have an almost 2 year old female named Belle. I work or I’m at college ( gone at least 6 hours in the middle of the day, I take her to the park twice a day) and I worry that she is lonely, even though I either leave the tv or radio on. I was looking to get a small animal, would that help? She wouldn’t be able to play but Belle doesn’t really play anyways. But with a small animal around it would make some more noise.Opinions would be great. 😁 |

| My baby who is hyper energetic seemed bored too. I noticed that she love cats. She would just light up and play with them and chase them, so I got her a kitten. While they still play together, I can tell the novelty has worn off for Duchess and she is back to being bored. She does chase the cat around when she gets bored but she doesn't do it as much. The cat will try to temp Duchess into playing and Duchess will play with her. However I can see where Duchess is initiating play with my cat a lot less. It may have been different if I had gotten another dog but Duchess doesn't do to well with other dogs and I didn't want to risk any serious fights or having to rehome one. Duchess loves people and cats, but she can only tolerate other dogs. |

| If your talking Hamster or rat or something like that more then likely it will drive your yorkie crazy. Remember Yorkies were bred for ratting. Also they are nocturnal so only come out at night.
