| My Yorkie has the longest neck! Pearl was pretty long and was groomed last week and got a totally different cut. Very close shave body and neck, legs and face left longer. She shaved partially up the back of her head like a cute ladies haircut. She looks darling but I swear her neck is almost giraffe-like. I’ve been pulling up the turtleneck on her sweaters to keep her from looking so crazy. Anyone else had this issue? |

| Welcome to YT, the next time she gets groomed have them leave a bit more hair on her neck, this may take away that long neck look. My boy has huge ears, I have the groomer leave fringes on the ears, that makes his ears look shorter, perhaps it work for longer necks.

| My 2 boys, from same parents, have long necks. I call them giraffes too. Their necks were really thin for the first 6 years and scared me, like their little legs. That is one of the reasons I keep them in full coat. They are still small, but have thickened up 1 inch. You can grow the hair out half way down the neck, behind the ears, and maintain a shorter style that accentuate the neck.
