| Growing up? What age did your puppies start to calm down a bit? Penny turned 1 in August. I am trying to figure out if she is not feeling well or if she is just growing up. She was playing with Joey and my dad this morning. Then instead of being up all day wrestling and stuff with Joey she has been sleeping. She will go into playing again around 8pm or so. Is she just calming down or is something weird going on? Thoughts?

| Its interesting, because Troy was always chill and relaxed. Emma was/is a whole different story. At 1 she had her relaxed moments but I still think she's much more "busy" at almost 4 years old than what Troy was at 4 years old. I don't want to say its a male/female thing but I wonder when the relaxed moments will occur.

| Duchess is almost 6 yrs old and she still has the energy of a puppy. However there are some days when she is just chillaxing or being lazy. If you think this abnormal behavior for her, just watch for signs of illness or injury. I am so in tuned to Duchesses' behavior that I notice the slightest behavioral changed. |

| Taylor, it could be the change in weather. My boys were quieter than usual a couple days ago when our region turned cold and rainy. They snuggled into their beds all day and only showed excitement when I took them for a car ride and gave them a treat. Otherwise, they were pretty lazy.
