| Need advice desperately! Hello, I need advice. I have 3 yorkies. Lilly who is 7, Ellie who is 2 and Gracie who is 5 months. Here is some background on Ellie. She has shown aggression a few times while in her bed towards family members who live in our house and to me a couple of times. She has anxiety when it rains, the wind is blowing, thunder and fireworks. I have tried the thunder vest which causes her more anxiety, the calming collar and sollaquin. I will try anything. We got Gracie in July. Since that time Ellie has attacked Gracie on 4 different occasions. It comes out of now where. There is no problems any of the other time. They play, bark together and a few times nap together. Ellie is 8 pounds and Gracie is 2.5 pounds. I am so afraid that Ellie is going to attack her again and really hurt her. I will take any advice anyone has to offer. One other note, when Ellie attacks Gracie she does not get aggressive back. I have to pull Ellie off of her to stop the attack. I love all my pups and I am devastated about this. Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for any advice. |

| Has she had a health check? You might have to try an anxiety medicine and even a behavioralist. Are they all spayed?

| Do they all have their own beds? My yorkie sometimes gets jealous of our shih tzu , but, after spaying both dogs, it has become so much better I have heard females can be more difficult to get along with each other, they all want to be dominate

| Ellie and Lilly have been spayed. The baby who is 5 months old has not. She is only 2.5 lbs. so I was hoping to wait a month or two. They do each have their own bed. I have looked for a behaviorlist but I live in a small town and only can find trainers. Do you think a training would help? I have a prescription of xanax but was told to give it to her when needed. | When needed is often. Tough call and some turns out to be after the fact unless you can find triggers before the incident. I used xanax 3-4 times a days for about a year until my pups anxiety was resolved after her hawk attack. As she got better and had fewer anxiety incidents I slowly decreased the dose and how often I gave it. I would worry about your little one getting hurt. How does she react to the xanax when she has gets it?

| I have given the xanax to her when there has been a threat of a storm. Once the storm began she still hid. I can't really tell if it helped or not. I'm afraid my little one is going to get hurt too. That's why I need advice. I have not let them unsupervised since the last incident. I called my vet today to schedule the surgery for the baby to be spayed. She will be six months old on November 1st. Because of her size, the vet is going examine her the first week of November and if everything OK. Will be spayed the end of that week. I really feel it has something to do with the fact that the baby isn't spayed. |

| I think Ellie needs a vet check to make sure she is not in pain or anything.
