| I have 2 grand daughters in college and I can tell you they don't have time for the proper care of a Yorkie. I have given one of them a retired mom who is young but Whisper has to stay home with my daughter and her family. Brit does miss her baby but she cannot make time just yet. Plus, she would have to find a new vet in the state where she is in school. And, money for the extras that Yorkies need is not in her budget just yet. My other gr-dgtr is in school out of state as well and she has not time for even a cat. Neither of these girls are party-goers and are on the dean's list but with homework, jobs and personal needs, they have decided to wait til at least senior years to take their pets with them. This is just my experience with my family. I could retire another dog and place with one of them, but not yet..If you find a puppy for the price you mention, it might not be what you are looking for. You say you have bought things so it sounds as if you have your heart set on a female.. Keep looking and you might find a puppy in the town where you go to school.. |
