| Bad Habits Ditto has decided he prefers to start his day about 4:30 a.m. I would prefer to sleep just tad later..Like clockwork he wakes me up telling me he needs to go pee..I'm convinced he's being less than honest but have few options except to get up, let him go outside where he proceeds to chase rabbits out of the back yard and eventually comes back to find me fuming..Not that me fuming bothers him one bit....Any suggestions? |

| Take him out on a leash and then put him back to bed after he goes potty.

| Yorkies are easily distracted, any movement will set them on a chase and they forget what they went out for, I agree with putting him on a leash so there is no chasing.

| Yep. On a leash. No talking. Back to bed. Also, make sure there is not something else going on like he gets cold and wakes up. At bedtime, make sure he pees last thing and give a small food treat. And try to make sure he gets plenty of play/exercise time during the day and is awake a bit so he needs his night time sleep. |

| Fabian's up at 4:30am -- he sleeps in the dining room -- and seems to want company. After getting some attention, we'll fall asleep with one of us on the sofa until 6am or so. We are dreading setting the clocks back this fall... we don't really want to be up at 3:30! |
