| Generally true, but with some caveats. Cherries are okay if you remove the pits and give only the flesh. Avocados are okay if you make sure there is no skin or pit material. Onions and chocolate are poisonous and should be on the do not eat list. Bananas make my Bella throw up if I give her too much. They also have a lot of empty calories. Oh, and things containing artificial sweeteners (sugar alcohols) like xylitol and sorbitol are also toxic. |

| You're right about sorbitol. It's not nearly as toxic as xylitol. Humans process them the same way, but dogs do not. |
