| ![]() Congrats on your new baby! I hope you two have a long, loving and fun life together. Read all you can about dog behavior and bone up on how to detect medical problems. Learn how to properly perform pet CPR & Heimlich maneuver. #1 tip, pay attention to unexplained changes in behavior that may indicate she's having problems and don't hesitate to vet her if it continues. In other words, if she's isolating herself during loud fire works, you know what's causing that behavior but if she does it other times w/out explanation or any other unexplained changes in how she normally acts, suspect there could be a problem and without words, she has no other way to 'tell' you things are not right with her.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() I would read/bookmark this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ent-guide.html Then also, go to our ER section - and print/keep handy the threads for CPR/Heimlich. And ALSO -- make sure you look in that section how to create your own doggie 1st Aid kit!
