				   | I am so glad to have found this site. I googled "How to house train a stubborn yorkie" and I found this site. My Lucy is so stubborn. She is smart but she just does not get pottying outside. I read the advice's given and will start trying them now. She is a beautiful Biewer Yorkshire Terrier and we love her to pieces. We got her on April 11th and have been trying to potty train her since. We have a playpen for her so we will try that method. Thanks for all the tips!! |

				   | Welcome to YT, glad that you found us. A Biewer is a breed of it's own, it is not a Biewer "Yorkshire" terrier. It is called a "Biewer", which by the way is a beautiful breed. Good luck with the potty training, consistency, praise, treats when she gets it right and lots and lots of patience is a must.

				   | Potty training takes a long time and you have to stay on top of it.

				   | Welcome to YT! It's been a great source of information and fun for me, too. It's strangely satisfying to be among people who love, love, love their little pups as much as I love mine. For us the key to potty training our little girl was limiting her territory slowly. We used a couple of gates and slowly expanded her run. (She's pee pad trained.) Good luck! A well trained pup is worth all the effort. |
