| NexGard vs. Bravecto Has any one use Bravecto or Nexgard for Flea and Tick Meds. They are both oral medications however, Bravecto you only give every three months compared to Nexgard you give once a month. My vet said they are both good. But I wanted to see if anyone had real life experience with them

| Thanks after some more research I also found Simparica. I bought that and will try it first. My other choice was going be nexgard. Even though Bravecto seems to have good reviews I am hesitant to use it because of the high dosage for three months. The reason I chose Simparica is the weight dosage. Bella is on the cusp of 10 pounds so I was unsure which one to get her for nexgard. I was going to wait and call my vet and manufacturer to confirm the right dosage packet when I found Simparica. I will see how that one goes.

| I've used both Nexgard and Simparica with good luck! I don't really have a preference -- they both seem to do the job and we've had no side effects for Jackson or Lola. We do a lot of outdoor activities as well and I've only found 1 tick on Jackson after he was in really tall grass and I got him out of it asap. Came back inside and found a tick. But usually in the summer, we used to have a bunch! So I'd say the medicine is working.

| My vet suggested switching from Stronghold to Nexgard a few years ago when I found a tick on Jake. I've never had any problems with it. |

| I use Bravecto on both of mine. So far so good. They tolerate it well. Sissy hated the liquid being put on her.
