Now that you know she rips stuffed toys do not buy anymore for now, get the soft rubber squeaky ones until she is trained, then you can try a cloth toy and see how she does. Always buy dog toys in pet stores, they are made especially for DOGS.

Yeah i am going with the kong toys , and stuff. Her toy is a petsmart toy

I took her to the vet(not sure if this was the thread where I posted I was going to) and they said she's fine. She's actually more around 2-3 years old (because of the tartar build up on her teeth) and when I explained they did a clean up on her teeth (or so the report had said) he noted that they did a horrible job at it so it's definitely either 2-3.

Anywho, the doc gave us some special "emergency" canned food to get her eating- it's supposed to go down well. When I spoke to him about the food he said that foods that claim to be grain-free are typically not that great because there is no proof/evidence that shows that a grain-free diet is better. He went on to say that people assume because humans have grain allergies-- that dogs will too which isn't really the case.

We gave him a stool sample, and he's giving us the results tomorrow.

The good thing(well somewhat) is, before we even took her to the vet I decided to let her roam in the room she's staying in for longer. (The room is completely bare, there is nothing on the floor asides her rubber toys, her cage, and her dishes). We checked back 15 minutes later ( to give her some privacy) and she finally pooped and peed. I was relieved to say the least.

It was a lot too... It was rather dry as well, which he mentions the food they had put her on probably wasn't agreeing with her. Now he told me to transfer her to one of the top companies brand like iams(the more expensive version), science diet, purina pro plan (I told him how some of these brands were bad and he mentioned that there's two sets of dry food that these companies sell-- the lower quality/cheapo kind-- and the higher quality somewhat higher price kind) , he mentioned some other stuff and he said Wellness is fine for a brand that isn't mainstream.

He mentioned that petstores generally try to advertise the other brands more because they cost a lot higher so they want to make a bigger profit or something like that- said he was teaching some kind of seminar (lost me at that point).

Not so sure if what he said about the food is true, but I recall one of you saying that science diet was actually really good brand.

She ate the bowl today in one sitting. I just gave her a mix of that chunky/liquid(well not liquid but you know kind of like peanut butter consistency) emergency food and her kibble (half of the chunky).

I've only read that first post; Leave it is a great command and works-MOST- of the time. Today Chewie found something on daughter's floor and she was only in there for seconds. Got labeled as "savage" by daughter because she swallowed something crunchy. she didn't drop it because she wasn't told to leave it. Best bit of advice I have is yes, leave it works fantastically, but those little boogers still manage to be "savage" every so often.

How did you teach "leave it"? I started on teaching her "back" which is working thus far.
