| ![]() I spent 9 1/2 hours in St.louis Friday and when I got home, Dexter wanted to be held and give me kisses before he went outside to go pee. We don't use pads so I know he really had to go. How long have you ever been gone without someone to watch your furkids without some one checking on them or taking them somewhere

| ![]() 7 1/2 hours, Cody is an outdoor potty boy. I do leave a pad down for him but he has never used it, he waits for me to come home. I have to cuddle and give him kisses before he settles down, then out to the yard we go.

| ![]() The humans in my house suffer separation anxiety, so my Yorkies have spent very little time alone. ![]() ![]() We left Max alone for 1 hour when he was a puppy. Then a few years later, my dad was in the hospital and I left the boys home alone for 1 to 2 hours a couple times a day for a week. They seemed to know it was an emergency and took it very well. I videotaped them and was able to see that they just laid in their beds by the door.

| ![]() Usually 7-8 hours total during the work weeks. They go to doggie daycare 1-2 times a week. I have had an emergency or very rare times where they've been left for 8-11 hours... This was far from idea but they survived (I always leave water down and dry food if it'll be longer than 8 hours). |

| ![]() I've been gone up to a 13 hours. Emma is left in a crate, she was ready to go out for sure, but there were no issues.

| ![]() Mine stay home between 8-9 hours. Casie can't hold her pee so she is pee-pad trained. Scottie waits to potty outdoors when I'm home. I've watched mine at work when I initially started leaving them home alone and free to roam. They don't do much except sleep. ![]() Maximo, I totally suffer from separation anxiety! Too bad I can't work from home. I've been trying to be creative lately and hoping one day....someday!! ![]()

YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() Don't ever leave your precious Yorkie alone in your car. Someone sees that dog breaks the window and takes him. Then sells him. NEVER leave them. Too dangerous. Just a run to the store and your dog could be taken |

| ![]() Longest I think one day was around 10-11 hours. That's not the norm. I try not to leave him longer than 6 hours.

We're all talking about how long we leave them at home. Definitely agree about the car! | |
