| Crate placement question We recently got our second baby and have to leave the girls for a couple of hours today. Should I face their crates to each other or not?? I've left several times already since we got her and I didn't have them facing each other but came home and my older one was upset and vocal which normally she isn't...I think the baby was crying and it upset her. I plan to put a Kong toy in each crate today, tv on, blankets, all the normal stuff but not sure about crate placement. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I would try having them face each other / be near each other, as that may be better for them both. And eventually, when the puppy is of a safe size etc - they could be together instead of separate.

| I would have the crates sitting next to each other, with the door facing forward. I am one to oppose the same crate when they get older as if you're away, you don't know if the dogs will fight even when they get a long, so I'd avoid that.
