| ![]() My Yorkie will be using my back yard which for now is not fenced in. I have seen wild cats in the yard, but I haven't seen any stray dogs. |

| ![]() I would not let a puppy that has not had all their shots in an area where there are feral cats, squirrels, chipmunks, etc. all these animals carry disease. You can pad train until the puppy has had all their shots, usually 5 or 6 months old, THEN start to house break the puppy.

| ![]() Well there is a chance they can pick something up. I have always have had fenced in yards so I have always started outside training from the beginning.

| ![]() I wouldn't want to chance it. Parvo alone can last for years in the ground. |

| ![]() Parvo can also be carried into your house from the soles of your shoes.

| ![]() If you do it before shots, you may want to disinfect the area. For my girl i sprayed stuff for fleas and ticks (which I need to do again), but there are stuff for parvo and other things that you can get on places like amazon https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_s...=1L8RZQHVXX57R
