| Puppys are allowed to be chubby and have a good layer of baby-fat because they need that to stay warm as they can't always regulate their body temps. As they get older yorkies start to feel different, almost lighter even though they may weigh more. It's odd. If you are not overfeeding your guy then its probably just the way he is built and just wait and see. |
