| Muddy Dog Challenge! On May 6th next year Wookie and I will be doing the Muddy Dog Challenge, a 2.5km obstacle course for dogs and their humans, to raise funds for Battersea Dogs Home. https://www.battersea.org.uk/support...challenge-2017 We're both really looking forward to it, although I get the feeling I will end up much muckier than Wookie will, and she'll breeze through the course with the occasional withering look at me that clearly states 'bipeds' All entrants have been asked to raise a minimum of £100 for Battersea, which I believe is easily achievable, but if not I will donate the money myself. Pretty sure I'll have no need to though, with the generous people I work with......who will be more than happy to pay a few quid to see me covered in mud from head to toe! Pictures, of course, to follow after the event, and I will post updates of our training and Wookies superiority when it comes to running across planks. |

| So Wookie and I have been getting into serious training for this. She runs rings round me! Mud, ditches, fallen trees....she takes them all in her (admittedly rather short) stride. Pete spends most of the time falling about laughing at my ineptitude! He says we're sure to win two categories....shortest combined team, and oldest and youngest competitors! Below are a couple of short videos from last years event, just to show you what we're getting ourselves in to! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wP1ExQK1H6o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh-CQtlxUh0 Wish us luck!!!!! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Cool! I have a good friend who does "mud runs" all the time - and she just LOVES it like nothing else. She even travels to go do them .
