Introducing Jack Hello everything, my name is Pauline and I just found this site and joined today. We live in Maidenhead 25 miles from London Heathrow airport. We adopted our 9 year old Yorkie Jack 3 months ago from a dog rescue. He was with his brother as the owners divorced and they werent wanted any more. Sadly the owners of the rescue split them up and a lady bought the brother. So upset, they lost their owner, their home and then each other. Just had to buy him he was so pittiful. We didnt want a little dog, having only had big dogs before, but we are completely bowled over by him. He is so beautiful in character and in appearance. Iv'e been looking every day for another Yorkie to adopt as we've always had two together-- kinder for the dogs I think, but they are in the north of England or Wales. Etc. I think if it's meant to be it will be! But keep on looking. Today it's raining all day . Taken him out three times for a wee but he wants to try and race back home. Have been reading about Yorkies and the rain! Never mind we will persevere. It's now 17 hours since he 'went' , silly boy. So with a pocket full of treats lets try again. Regards Pauline

You sound so wonderful and compassionate! Piper is my first little dog, too, and I've never felt such intensity of emotion and love as she generates in me. I'm sure you'll figure out the 'wet walks' or perhaps you could (as I did) put up a beach umbrella in your yard so Jack has a dry place to do his business; Piper used her area until a windstorm broke the umbrella pole in half! I finally managed to convince Pipe that she isn't a lump of sugar, therefore, she will not melt in the rain. Enjoy your willful little gent and post pictures please!!

Typo Meant to say hello everone not hello everything! My rubbish typing skills I'm afraid. Would have posted a couple of pictures of Jack but can't! Been trying for ages, and I know there are help pages and I still can't get my head round them. By the way, yippee, we took Jack out as the rain stopped and all is well again !!
