All 4 of our sweet little dogs sleep with us on a king size bed, and I wouldn't want it any other way. They are such a comfort, too, and once they get settled in, they are very peaceful and quiet. We love them. They are our "family" here in the boonies of Arkansas. Two are yorkies ( Harley and Precious ) and a maltese ( Tinkerbelle ) and a mix ( Max ). They give us UNCONDITIONAL love !!!! Remember~~~GOD spelled backwards is DOG !!!!!

| They sleep with me every night. We have a routine. I work afternoons and Toni is sleeping when I get home and my babies are waiting for me in the family room. After a little bit of TV I will ask "Are you ready to go upstairs?" They both jump up and go to the garage door because they know they have to "go pee go poo" before we go upstairs. After they do their business they run to the gate and jump up and down. When I open the gate they haul butt up the stairs into the bedroom waiting for me. Once there I take one of the treats I keep in the bedroom and put it under the pillow. Max gets lifted up 1st and walks to the end of the bed. I lift Sasha up and also walk to the end of the bed. I put Sasha on the bed and in one giant leap she dives under the pillow searching for "her" treat. Max gets hand fed his treat. We have done this same ritual for the last 18 months.

We'd always said that we wouldn't have Wookie sleeping upstairs with us, more because we were worried about rolling on her and hurting her than for any other reason. However, the two weeks Pete was on early shift, he would bring her up and put her on the bed after her morning toilet at 5.30am, and she would snooze with me until I got up at 8am. Two weeks ago, Pete broached the subject of her sleeping up with us full time, as 'If we get burgled in the night she would be an easy target, either for being stolen or being brutalised'. A very valid concern I have to admit, although I didn't need any persuading! Result....Wookie now sleeps up on our bed with us. She tends to settle down near the foot of the bed, and is as good as gold.

Zeus and Perseus both sleep with me and my husband (well, really me) in our bed. I would not have it any other way. Why would I want to miss that unconditional love during the night? Zeus sleeps curled next to my chest, and Perseus sleeps curled next to my stomach. I rarely move during the night. At 9:30 Perseus starts getting antsy. By 10:00 he is a basket case and whining. I ask, "Are you ready to go night-night? They both immediately run to the bedroom, up the ramp, and onto the bed. My husband joins us later. My 15 year old son comes in to tell them goodnight. They are the warmest, safest, most loving living beings I have ever been around. I'm to the point that I like dogs better than most people!

I agree too. I like my Yorkies better than people! BeanO sleeps with me. He is about 1.5 years old. Milo sleeps in the crate at the foot of my bed so he can see us. He is about 3.5 months old and still not hitting the pee pads directly but once he does he too will be sleeping on the bed with me.

Working guest service, one must keep it light. BUT... I SAVED SOMEONE'S LIFE TODAY! Well, I resisted the urge to Strangle the Life out of this Idiot. So pretty much the same thing.

No! Bailey cuddles with us while we watch TV before bed. But when it's time to sleep she gets pottied and put in her crate in the living room. If we are lazy and sleep in one of us will get up to potty her and then she can come cuddle some more.

I wouldn't have it any other way! Cooper is the best sleep medicine a person can "take"! I love my snuggle time with him.
