| Can you measure your Yorkie and smaller dogs? My son makes dog collars for our craft shows and I told him a long time ago to make harnesses. But he never did so I'm going to add them to our product line(with our new model for pictures). I only have Max a 3 lb yorkie and 2- 10 lb shiz tzus. Shiz Tzus have a big neck but I'm making them adjustable for 10 lb dogs or smaller. Can you measure your little ones for me so I can get a approximate size to make them? I need around the chest and around the neck by the collarbones. The one I made Max doesn't go around his neck but rests on the shoulders and it worked great..I could steer him with the clasp in the middle of the back. Can you respond back with breed of dog (figure I might get alot of Yorkies but thats ok) age and measurements? I appreciate your help on this. I hate making a bunch then finding out they aren't fitting the little doggies...Thanks! |

| Buddybear is two. I measured his area for a halter and he's just under 14" behind the front legs, weight is about 8# 6oz I bought him an extra large cat collar because it will come off so he won't get choked. I have his tags on the cat collar..... Is your son making items from leather???

| He makes them from webbing with fabric for the print on the collars. I'm going to make the harnesses out of cotton fabric for summer and minky for winter so it will have a little protection from the cold...like a jacket harness. Since its what Max needs I figure we do shows in the upper midwest they will sell good here if I get the sizing correct. |

| Both my dogs weigh 6 1/2 pounds. Abby is a bit longer Ziva kind of short body and boxy. Ziva (7 yrs old) 9 1/2" neck/collar , 12 " around the neck/shoulders, 14 " ribcage/waist Abby (5yo) 10" collar, 11 1/2 around shoulders , 14" ribcage. We have a polar fleece one piece velcro "jacket" that they both fight over to wear in February The minky sounds great! |

| I've bought several patterns for Buddybear at Wal-Mart for jackets etc. They were reasonably priced but I haven't made any yet.
