| Welcome to YT and congrats on your soon to be new baby. So sad for his owner. Good thing is, you will know about his past. I have a surrender 2.5 years now and stay in touch with prev.owner, send pics and videos which are much appreciated.

| Thanks for the welcome Thanks for the welcome. Yes it is a plus that I will know all about him. I guess he only weighs 3 pounds which scares me just a little. Lol. But he is housebroke, crate trained and registered. Only thing I need to do is get his shots updated and get him neutered. And he actually eats the same dog food that my other two dogs do. Any tips that anyone may have for a tiny dog would be much appreciated. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | CONGRATS !!! Looking forward to seeing the little punkin'. Give him tons of TLC as this will be a huge change for him, poor guy. But it sounds like he found his new furever home, so that's great. You'll do fine w/ a little one. If you're nervous, buy him a little bell for his collar. Do you need steps for your bed or sofa...?

| I hadn't thought about a bell. And not sure about steps. I will know more when I actually see him and talk more with his owner. She said he is crate trained for when they are gone and at night for the most part. But the rest of my crew sleep with me at night. So I would imagine he will too at some point. |

| Excited and nervous too Yes I am excited for sure. But also a tad nervous. I had no plans to add another dog. But my friend posted him on Facebook for her Neice and his pic grabbed my heart. I figured there were probably a ton of people asking for him especially cause he is so small. But I messaged her anyway, first to say how cute he was, and then to ask questions. Less than 24 hours later she is saying she would love for me to have him as she felt this was where he needed to be. Kind of a whirlwind for sure. |

| Oh, I understand. He is a wee little one? Mine are not the smallest of yorkies, but they were both the "runts" of their litter...my girl is very petite boned compared to my boy. Looking forward to seeing your pics, must be adorable! |

| Yes my friend says he fits it the palm of her hands. Very well behaved. I'm sure he will be nervous and confused at first. But I'm off the weekend and that should help greatly I hope. |

| His name is Kanya. Not super excited about that but figure he has enough changes coming he doesn't need to have his name changed on top of that |

| Yes I am sure he will have a nick name soon. Lol.when I told her a lot of people would be interested in him because of his size and using him for breeding she said she hadn't thought about that. But in the same breath I said let me call my vet and see how much to get him neutered she said that is when she knew for sure this is where he needed to be. |
