| W even try??? Title was supposed to read "why even try". I couldn't figure out how to edit that. So Ezme finally came home yesterday! We had a great first night! Since I have failed miserably at crate training most of the puppies I have ever raised, I decided not make myself, or Ezme, have miserable nights of crying in a crate. Last night she slept cuddled up to me as happy as a clam! I'm a light sleeper, so whenever she'd get restless, I'd just sit her down on the potty pad next to the bed, she'd do her business, then just cuddle back in again. She's doing super with pad training! She does have an Iris playpen that I move around the house when I have to get things done. She does want to be held ALL The time and will cry sometimes, but I'm trying to be tough with that. I know I can't let her think she has to be with me 24/7. I sure am enjoying this little sweetheart! I do have 4 other dogs. Only 1 isn't happy with her and that's my Golden Doodle. She acts terrified and depressed and wouldn't eat dinner last night. Today I will give her some extra special attention and hope that helps. Last edited by Furkidsfurme; 07-19-2016 at 05:46 AM. |

| I say cuddle and snuggle and enjoy every warm loving minute of it! How can you not do so with such a soft, sweet baby?! |

| Adorable! Crate training is great but not for everyone. I say do whatever works. Nemo does well in his for night time and travel but forget confining him if I go to work. It's made potty training a little difficult but oh well I'm willing to do what it takes no matter how long.
