| Yorkie size My sweet Charly is 19 weeks and weighs about four and a half pounds. How much more should I expect her to grow? What age does a yorkie stop growing? |

| I'd say that in terms of physical size, they gradually grow up to about 1 year. Weight wise, they continue to fill out up to about 2+ years.

Growth patterns will vary a little based on genetics. Filling out will be influenced by environmental factors. My 2 boys are full brothers and they both had a late growth spurt at 11 months. They grew in height and length. They developed muscle their 2nd and 3rd years, adding to their overall weight.

| My Barney was around 4 pounds at that age. He's now 6.5 pounds at 3.5 years. He's tall and lanky. He stayed around 4-4.5 for a long time. He continued gaining until he was 2.
