New Babies!!!

They are just toooooo adorable. They remind me of magnets (white and black Scottie's) that I had as a child.

Sissy is a rescue and when she first came to us she climbed into a dog bed and just watched us and Bubba. We left her be till she was ready. As we sat on the floor and played with Bubba she slowly began to work her way toward us. Soon she was ready to accept us and willing to let us pet her and moved into my lap. They will get there just give them time. They are lucky dogs and will have a good furever.

Thank you!!! It's so nice to hear the great news about Sissy! Today they are coming up and nibbling on our fingers. While they were playing in the yard, Toby would suddenly stop running and walk toward me and I could tell he wanted to come to me but he would stop and look at me, then run play some more. They will lick our fingers now too. It is so exciting to watch their progress. I don't think I have feelings quite like this before. There is so much joy in watching their progress. I am so happy that these precious babies have found us. We are totally in love!!! Yesterday we went and got our hair cut. We put them in a crate together. They were calm and did fine since they had each other. I highly recommend adopting a bonded pair of rescue babies, there is just nothing like it.

Thank you! I hope they love it here. Every day I get new surprises. When they take their naps after playing outside, I lay on the bed with them. Toby is inching a little closer to me each time. He is now laying about 8 inches away from me. He wants to cuddle so bad but he is still a little afraid. Baby girl will lay right up against my leg.

When I call them outside, they will come to me and touch my hand or leg with their noses. But I can't reach for them yet because it scares them.

I don't know what people did to make these little ones so scared of people. How can anyone be cruel to innocent dogs? It's shameful.

Double the fun and sweetness! I can imagine how gratifying it is to watch them progress, settle into their new life with a loving mom and dad.

Adorable displays of affection! How sweet that Tina lays against your leg and Toby is getting closer. He will be cuddling with you in no time.

Congrats on your sweet new babies they are so lucky to have you for their mommy..with all that love you are giving to them soon they will be like glued to you, I can't sit down without mine being in my lap but i love it.

Thank you so much!!! Tina is finding her voice. She will bark when she hears other dogs bark. She has a cute lil bark. I don't think she is a barker at all though. Toby is much quieter. They are settling in so well. So sweet to watch them be curious about everything. All the different sounds make them stop what they are doing and listen.

I'm so happy to have both of them together. It is making the transition process so much easier for them. They will quietly walk into the crate on their own when we leave and are quietly resting there when we come home. We are going to do things differently with these guys.

They are already turning into velcro dogs. They want to be close to me all the time. It's great because when I come in the house they are tagging along right behind me. Tina Likes to nap on top of my legs.

I just know that this was meant to be! My husband is crazy about them. I mean crazy!!
