A Few Words Of Caution
There are dangerous people in our society who prey upon victims by using "found" pets as a ploy.
NEVER respond to a "found" pet contact alone. Take a friend or two along with you.
Arrange to meet in a public place.
NEVER invite the person to your home unless you happen to know them well.

Beware of money scams. A common one is a person calls you claiming to be a long-haul trucker. He says he picked up your pet and is out of state now. He heard about your ad, flyer, etc. and says he will return your pet if you will pay to ship it home. This person does not have your pet, he is only trying to take your money. Don't wander around looking for your pet alone, either during the day or at night. Always bring a friend or relative. This is especially important in unfamiliar neighborhoods. Use the identifying information you have withheld about your pet. Please remember that you should never give out all of the identifying features of your lost pet. If the person who claims to have found your pet cannot describe these features to you, they do not have your pet!

.. I know 1st hand what your going thru and I hope your out there looking, Ask neighbors make Flyers NOW !!! if you need help Send me a pic with all his info and I will make it for you ! and e-mail it back !

call all you local shelters,vets, groomers,petco's, petsmarts, and all stores in the area hit all schools & daycare centers... even delivery men !

I will be praying for your pups safe return

Good luck ... ANY TIME YOU MAY NEED A FLYER I WILL MAKE IT FOR YOU NO PROBLEM

I will let my husband know this, he works all around the cities, and I will also have him let the job sups in those areas know.... so they can keep their eyes out for the pup.

I am so sorry this has happened, I can't imagine how you are feeling.

I just asked, and there are no job sites in that area at this time.... he said though he would ask around when he is around that area. Sorry I couldn't of been more help.

Karjon we're praying for you and your little baby. May God bring Gracie safely home and keep her in tender care while she is away from you. I'm praying that you have peace as you search for her.

Cindy, thanks for the 12 steps. My boss's good friend & neighbor (they just tried out together for the Amazing Race) just lost her dog, too. A big mixed breed. I emailed the 12 steps to my boss and I pray they help her neighbor, too. I'm keeping a copy of those 12 steps - really great info.

The 12 steps are something I am saving, but hopefully won't ever need.

Since you are in a rural area, talk to the post office and your mail carrier..they may have seen the dog on their route.
