| Figure this one out.... I've bought Gidget a couple of dresses which she wears with no problem, a couple of shirts which she wears with no problem. I decided I wanted her to have a night shirt when she sleeps in bed with me. Didn't want to spend a lot of money on one so I bought a newborn onesie and cut it off. First night, she took it off sometime duirng the night. So, the next night, I cut if off so it would measure the same length as her shirts. First night, she got it off so I tacked it up a little at the neck. She didn't get it off but ended up with one front paw outside the shirt. Well, when I put her in bed at night (in the night shirt), she walks around on the bed, whines and barks. So, I would get up and take her to the wee wee pad thinking she needed to pee again. Takes her forever to settle down. Not the answer. So last night when she started this, I took the night shirt off, she settled right down and we slept until 7:00. Now, it's 10:00 in the morning, she's wearing the same shirt she won't wear at night and is perfectly happy. Anyone else have a furbaby who won't sleep in a shirt or jammies? |

| It's strange because she keeps it on when she naps during the day either in my lap or in her dog bed. It's just at night when she's in bed with me that she doesn't like the shirt. Oh, well....She has her own personality and quirks! |

| This would be my guess, especially if she is lying close to you. Dogs' body temperatures are higher than humans'. In the warmer months, my boys snuggle with me for awhile, but then they have to move away to cool off. In the winter, they stay with me longer.

| Is she super into routine? Maybe clothes=play or nap, and no clothes=settle down for the night.

| Lilah is the same way! I take her top knot out at night and we comb her coat and it is bedtime, we do top knot in the morning and it is breakfast (or bye bye) and if she gets dressed man is she excited because more likely than not we are going somewhere, be it on a walk or even just to play pictures Lilah does not like to wear a night down to bed (to my great great sadness) and Will be half undressed if I try it! I think the routine makes a lot of sense.
