| matted hair Hello everyone. I have a older tea cup yorkie who has no teeth but always seems to be able to get mats all over his rear end. Any ideas how to prevent this? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome. I'd suggest grooming him every couple days - that's what I have to do to prevent mats. I like the mustache comb best for this.

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. How long is your boy's hair? My boys have long coats and tend to tangle on the back end from snuggling. I agree with Wylie's Mom's suggestion about the mustache comb. Weekly baths with a good conditioner and thorough combing also help keep the tangles at bay.
