| Red leg, cross? Still not sure I wrote a post about my yorkie puppy tink a month or so ago. I hadn't realised until got her that she was different. Some said she was a cross (I didn't and still don't believe the elderly breeder lied) some said she was possibly a redleg. This picture was taken a few days ago with her new play mate. Our huge 8.8lb 10 week old yorkie girl fushia. Now I think she looks definitely more different. Any opinions now?? | Here is a better link to your photo. Is this the right one? If so, the one laying down looks like a purebred Yorkie. The ears look a little long on the one standing up in back. 20160430_120811-1_zpsmzxwwjfj.jpg Photo by clare_johnson3 | Photobucket |

| They're both Yorkie's. They're just not Show Quality that's all. If it's over 7lb or under 4lb than it's not standard to AKC. You probably bought it as a Pet from a breeder who sold it to you as a Pet Quality and not as a Show Quality. Don't get discourage, just love them for their great personality. If in doubt, you can always get a DNA test. If you bought this from a backyard breeder then there could be possibility. IMO, they both look Yorkie. People always tell me my Lola doesn't look like a Yorkie because she's very Platinum color with a bit of Tan on her face and legs. I laugh and said, you'd obvious never seen all the type of Yorkie colors. Parti/Gold/Chocolate/etc... They come in all different flavor. |

| My last girl Matese now passed, was huge as an 8 week old baby and HUGE German Shepard ears, long muzzle, her weight as an adult was 17 lbs. Her coat was pure black, face and legs a auburn gold color and a tuff of white hair on her chest. I have a pic of her in my album, a side view to show her color and how sleek she was. Your baby is all yorkie, just bigger, so her face and ears will be big also. And if she WAS a red leg, that is still a yorkie. She's adorable.
