Confused ... So I am a tad confused.... I am still in the process of trying to house train Daisy. Just when I thought she was doing good, she's has been having allot of accidents. So its back to step 1. Ive read about keeping them in a small area. Do I keep her in the small area all the time? If I take her our obviously watch her and when I see her start to sniff around, pick her up and bring her back to the pen to go to the bathroom. It definitely is harder than just what you read lol

It's very hard and can take a long time I am in the middle of it as well, Lily is our second yorkie and during the day she is in a 200 sq foot family room were we spend most of our time and she can see us in the kitchen. It can be going really well and then they seem to forget it all . Bella our 3 yr old still has the odd accident . Keep up the good work it will get better. We use the treat system.

I keep Daisy in a play pen with her bed, toys, food, water, and a pee pad. I'm going to start limiting her freedom again. At first the only time she was allowed out was when she was with us on the couch so I could tell when she had to go to the bathroom. Then i let her on the floor once she seemed to be getting better. But it seemed to go back to step 1. What treats do you use? I feel like my treats don't work and maybe should look into another brand.

At some point you have to let them have some freedom , they will have to learn from there mistakes if not it is just us that is trained to get them to the pee pad. I use natures Miracle and a good carpet cleaner You have to have the treats really close so you can give it really fast so they know the treat is for the pee pad action and lots of praise. This morning Lily peed on the pad and all 4 adults in the room cheered her on LOL What we do for our babys

I praise Daisy when she pees on the pee pad all the time. My husband is the one that finds it silly to praise her but he doesn't understand, since I'm the one trying to train her. How is the Natures Miracle?

Natures Miracle is the best it kills the odor and get ride of the stain sometimes you have to use it a couple of time and then every couple of week with Lily training I use the carpet cleaner to clean and suck all the stuff up I use Natures Miracle rug shampoo as well . Make sure you blot up as much pee as you can then put NM on the spot and let it dry .
