| The Sweetest little peep! Does anyone else's Yorkie make a little half whine/half peep sound when frustrated? I know I'm not describing this right. Bo does this for instance when he's trying to reach a toy he can't quite get, or if he wants down off the couch, or if he's trying to pull a little towel over his food (so he can hide it from our Schnauzer, he buries it in the towel & is very intense). It is the sweetest little noise. I wondered if anyone else's Yorkie does this or is it just Bo...

| Yes, I think I know what you mean. It's sort of a tiny whimper too. It's totally adorable when Yoda does it, I don't know how to describe it either. |

| OK, Oh my gosh! If this is a Yorkie trait then I KNOW I want at least one more. I've been around dogs all my life and have never heard that sweet little sound before!

| My first yorkie used to make the "peep" sound, she would look at me and i asked her "show me what u want" and walk behind her, she would take me to the treatbox, fridge, waterdish, outside, food dish, or to the stairs going up... at 9 pm she wanted to go to bed and i would have to take her up and tuck her in... she was really adorable and still is... miss her badly still after 7 years! i wonder if Chelsey will have a little trait like that when she gets older.... its just so cute

| Those "sweet" sounds are a secret Yorkie weapon!! Toto knows just when to use a certain sound and get away with anything she wants!!! Toto not only has that little "peep" sound, she has lots of others ... very seldom actually barks but tries her darndest to talk!!! She will argue with me!!! Aren't they amazing?!

| Higgins tries to talk, too! That kid has more "words" in his vocabulary than a two year old. And he UNDERSTANDS waaaaay too much. We have to spell things out now so he doesn't know what we're saying...... |

| That's cute. Bo gets really loud and demanding with his little barks and eerrrr-ruffs when he wants something! But that little squeek is just a heart-breaker!

buckeye argues with me too. he always has to have the last word. i will tell him no cark and he will give me one more and i will say "i said no" he will wait a few seconds and throw another weaker bark in there. then i will say "i said no". sometimes it is a full minute before he will so another weak bark. sometimes he finishes up with just the movement. like he is saying it under his breath.
