| Puppy diarrhoea? ? I have an 8 week old puppy, this morning she had a soft jelly like stool with watery stuff, and another time, and has just had one again, and it dripped out of her bum, she seems fine in herself, anyone know what I should do? Xx |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Did you feed her something / anything new or different? If yes, that's the cause. If not, I'd keep a *very* very close eye on this little one or she could go down hill fast due to her young age (she is too young to be already away from her Mama).

| Did you change her food? If you changed it from the food she had been on that may be the cause but for safety sake I would take a stool specimen to the vet to rule out parasites.

| If she has gone 3 more times since you posted she needs to see the vet ASAP. They can get dehydrated very quickly.

| Dont want to frighten you but this is also how parvo starts....have you had this baby out, exposed to other dogs, public areas where other sick dogs have possibly been?.....worms also cause this but she needs to be seen by a vet before she gets lethargic and starts to fail.
