Ok, before Yorkie Talk:
I thought yorkies were just "dogs"
I didn't have to wrestle Megan for computer time
I didn't know how many wonderful, caring people there were out there
I actually did WORK when I went to work
I read more
I talked to my husband more
I had no idea how much fun was out there waiting for me

Last month my husband shaved off his gottee(sp?) and I didnt notice for a whole week. I blame yorkietalk for that.

And now I dont get out of the house much either

and I blame YT for that too

BUt I have all sorts of friends and learned lots so I am very thankful for YT. I didnt know there were different coat colorations, I wasnt aware of the term "teacup" being a bad term, and I also didnt know as much about puppymills and how bad petstores were that sold puppies. YorkieTalk is extremely informative

Before Yorkietalk I had a desktop computer but since I am on YT all the time I had to get a laptop

YAY for that!

I also didnt know what the heck yogurt drops were, nor had I ever heard of them.

And before YorkieTalk I had never even been on a forum, EVER.

Before YT...

I thought i was the only one who was obsessed with yorkies.
i thought i was the only who found those pics of the dogs next to the pepsi cans kinda disturbing
I didnt know there were purebred yorkies over 7lbs lol
i thought USDA was only for produce, not breeders
i spent hours searching for yorkie info and always seemed to fall short
i had a boyfriend
i didnt know what the heck a biewer yorkie was

After YT...

i can tell my family with confidence that its ok that Sirius pees on pee pads
i know what hypoglycemia, liver shunts, both LP's, and parvo are.
if i have a yorkie question, i just do a search on the site and within seconds there are like 92384 threads on it.
i realize that a 3 lb dog is alot smaller than i had orignally thought
i dont feel bad that my dog has better insurance coverage than i do
i realize im not the only person who examines their dogs poop
i dont feel strange that i sleep with a living teddy bear
i know there always a new thread i could be reading

i found a great group of men and women who love their furbabies (or perspective furbabies) as much as i do and i always have a place to go for whatever questions i may have. even "off topic" ones. ::tear::
