In my visit with my chiropractor today he asked how the walks with Buddybear were going.......:p, so I explained his behavior and his suggestion was get essential oil of lavender and put it on his muzzle area plus hook him up to the treadmill to wear his extra energy out before we get into the car.

I'm sure I will have to do research so I don't hurt him. . . . We play ball and toss toys around the house but he seems to get heavy breathin with his tongue hanging out easily.

My chiropractor has adjusted people, dogs, and horses for years. Tomorrow I will be buying oil of lavender even though I don't like the smell, it may become my new favorite scent if it works!!!😆

Attachment 409241Well, Charlie is home resting. He had 16 (yes 16) baby teeth pulled! He is a year old in a few days so it was time. We have pills, etc. for a few days. He is still in a daze but at least his breath doesn't knock ya out!

Poor Charlie :eek: 16 teeth.............Ouch, thank goodness for the drugs.

Hope he heals really really fast.

Attachment 409246He started pulling out of it yesterday evening. Started eating which led to pee'n which led to running around the house! Yes, we mix water with his dry food to soften it up a bit. Right now he moving his toys around the house (we put them back in his toy box every evening). Have to run - he is barking at me - apparently he went in the poopoo box and wants his treat! You got to love these Yorkies! :)

That little tough Charlie! An insignificant thing like have 16 teeth pulled isn't going to slow our boy down! Such a little honey!! By the way, I hope you're recovering as rapidly from his surgery (I do believe it's tougher on us).

Well, it sounds like he won't be needing the drugs after all......maybe you should save them for your self (lol, just kidding) 😱 Ol' Charlie, nothing can slow him down:eek:.......but to just humor him he should at least be getting some pudding or ice cream so he can pretend he was in pain.:D

Attachment 409250Sorry - we are giving him pain medicine every 12 hours and one other form of medication. He is back to normal with the exception of playing "pull my toy from me." He hasn't tried that yet - just drag's his toys around right now. So far so good - he is a real soldier.

16 teeth!!!!! Ouch is right, poor little guy. Sounds like he is back to his little ole self. Sweet lil Charlie.

Does Charlie have any/all his adult teeth?

I'm curious they didn't take the baby teeth when he was fixed.

He loves his mama, he does--and that's the only reason he's tolerating the outfit (although I'll be he secretly loves being ouhed-and-ahhed over).
