Get some toys for her, she may not know right away what to do with them, if you play with her and the toys she will get the hang of it. She is still a bay at 1.5 y/o. You must be so excited less then a week to go.

You have no idea! She'll be 2 on March 30th. She's so sweet. I just want her to be happy.

You sound like you will be a wonderful mom to her, so she will be VERY happy. I am so excited for you! Only 5 more days to wait and you will be a new mommy! :)

I am SO excited for you. I can feel your excitement in your post! It is so hard to wait, but it's not long now. I am sure you are getting things all ready for her. I hope the transition is not too hard on her, but it may take a little longer than a puppy. Of course, with all the love you will bestow on her, that will certainly help.

We're you able to get pictures of her?? I can hardly stand waiting to see her. :D

I tried to take her picture when I went to see her but my flash wouldn't work and it was dark. And the breeder won't send me pictures because she's busy baking. So I guess we'll have to wait til I get her. I'll try to put the picture I have (not a good pic) in my gallery. I'll post on here if I succeed. Lol

She sounds and looks totally precious! What wonderful holidays you'll have with your little Lady Bug (cute name, too)! How very, very exciting; she's a lucky little lady for having you and you obviously and rightly so, feel the same for having her!!! She's a little cutie, for sure!!

There's a member here, bjh, who has a picture of one of her yorkies (katie2) who looks like Ladybug. When I get her I'll take a lot of pictures and put them in my gallery. I wish I had her already. Hahaha!

Lady Bug is gorgeous! I'm so glad you are getting a little girl to love and spoil! She will be so happy in your home. I see she is already used to wearing dresses! Do you have a few already hanging in her closet? I can't wait to see more pictures.

Thank you! I don't have anything bought for her yet. The breeder is giving me all of her things. Dresses, jackets and sweaters. I'll see what she has first.

The short answer is Yes! Many Yorkies require regular dentals and you need to keep up with brushing their teeth. I am sure in Yorkie Health and Diet we probably have some threads on here about folks do to try to keep their teeth healthy. Dental Health is really important for overall health!
