| Female Yorkie with male of female CAT ? Heya!! I have a 3.5 y.o. female Yorkie. Now i plan on having a cat as well. I hope the cat can be a good friend of hers. In order to achieve that, wich sex would be better when choosing a cat? My yorkie is very affectionate, she is a little bit afraid of other dogs but very obedient and loving with us humans. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Impossible to say whether a male or female would do better bc it really depends upon the cat. If I were you, I'd go to a shelter and adopt a cat bc there are SO many cats where they already know at the shelter as to whether or not they get along w/ dogs.

Definitely would go with a older cat that has developed his/her personalty. Shelter/rescue would be a wonderful place since the ppl there probably would know what cat would have the best chance of fitting in with ALL of your family. Good luck in your search!!! | |
